Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pound broccoli heads about 2 heads
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated aged Asiago PDO cheese
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Cut the large stems off of the broccoli, and then cut heads into pieces that are about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long with stalks are about 1/3-1/2 inch thick. Lay cut broccoli on a 9x13 baking pan.

  3. In a small bowl, stir together garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and black pepper. Pour oven broccoli on pan, then stir to ensure that all broccoli is coated.
  4. Use spoon to spread broccoli out to a single layer on pan. Cook for 8 minutes.
  5. Remove pan from oven and stir broccoli. Then, spread Asiago over broccoli. Return to oven and bake for another 6-8 minutes, or until cheese is melted and broccoli heads are beginning to brown.
