Sloppy Joes
Sloppy Joes. Ground beef with lots of veggies, and not overpowering with the ketchup. A healthier and tastier take on Sloppy Joes.

- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 onion chopped finely
- 1 green bell pepper chopped finely
- 1 large carrot chopped finely
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 8 hamburger buns
Heat large skillet over medium high heat. Add ground beef with seasoned salt and onion powder. Cook, stirring frequently, until beef is fully browned, about 5-6 minutes.
Once beef is cooked, remove from skillet with a slotted spoon. Drain all but about 2 tbsp grease in skillet.
Add chopped onion, bell pepper, carrot, and garlic to skillet. Cook until veggies are softened, about 7-8 minutes.
Return beef to skillet and add all of the remaining ingredients. Stir together well.
Turn heat to low and simmer, stirring ocassionally for 15 minutes. Serve on buns.
